Post Re: My arrangement of Ain't Misbehavin'
I wondered what is going on in the bridge where you have added other chords in brackets.

One general question I would have is when is the chord in the left hand the first inversion of Ab and when is it Cm+? (2nd bar of bridge) Or doesn't it matter?

It seems like you need to keep the C going in the bass as a pedal point so I am not sure whether you are suggesting changing the left hand chords or just the improvisation.

After playing through this a few times I find myself wanting to add one or more notes in the left hand chords. If I let my fingers just find the notes without thinking about it too much I find that sometimes I am adding the root into the chords on 2nd & 4th beats. Is this "wrong" and something I should consciously try to avoid?

Sorry if these are silly questions.
Thanks
